In light of my anniversary last week, I wanted to share my experience with designing my argyle themed wedding cake. ❤️

I was fortunate to find a wonderful, super-close, affordable bakery with awesome reviews. Sara J Pastries & Cakes. We did cake tasting and everything. Decided to treat our 30 count guest list to a choice of vanilla or chocolate. I really wanted 2 tiers so I think this cake serves 50 guests.

Here’s the drawing I made and the paint swatches from Home Depot. They were spot on with the fondant colors.

I provided the rhinestone crystal flower wire embellishments and “B” silver topper from Party City. They provided the white hydrangeas, silver cake plate and blue ribbon.

I think the flower embellishments were an elegant suttle touch. 😍
