My name is Melanie Boreham and this Crazy For D.I.Y. blog is my creative outlet. This is my platform to show my creations and in detail how I accomplished them. From painting at Paint Nite or sewing a Halloween costume or baby blanket for my friends’ babies or finding an affordable decor idea with supplies I already have (who doesn’t love a challenge?). I want others to have the same opportunity to do it themselves. I would hope to create a spark into someone else’s masterpiece. I have a huge repository of projects I’ve documented but finding the time to blog about them is the biggest challenge. I hope to catch up and have it all here and archived. I am a proud mom of two wonderful boys. I LOVE all crafts and I consider myself a “Jack of all Trades” in the crafting world. I also work at home part time as a graphic / web designer. My projects range from food packaging, trade-show collateral, website creation, social media marketing, etc. I graduated from the Art Institute of Califorina – Los Angeles with a BS in Graphic Design. I married the love of my life, a super genius iOS developer, Ken Boreham, who has given me the gift of raising our boys at home. Our village is grand and beyond blessed with amazing friends and family.
