I started taking painting classes a couple months ago at Renee’s Art Studio in Chatsworth.
Karen Vadman and her daughter, Chris Vadman, are the owners of this wonderful little studio. I have had Karen as my teacher for the past 2 months… and who would of thunk it… 20 years ago when the studio was located in Reseda she was teaching me oil painting when I was 13 years old. She still is the amazing all-knowing instructor that I remember her as.
Starting next week, I will be studying mixed media with Chris who knows everything – literally! lol — She’s definitely a walking wikipedia for mixed media and art and fabric and you name it! Looking forward to experimenting beyond Acrylic.

Hey there Ms. Thing. Thank you so much for the absolutely humbling compliments and promotion of the studio. We are so happy that for more than 30 years we have been offering Fine Art instruction to the Granada Hills, Chatsworth, Canoga Park and Northridge areas. I just love what you have been working on and can’t wait to see how the Rings with Petals turns out.
